Mubhij brings his science and business acumen to DNAlite. He co-founded DNAlite Therapeutics based on a vision to transform medicine using intestinal gene therapy. He did his MSc in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and did research at Caltech prior to that. Mubhij did his BSc in Chemistry from Wake Forest University.
Timothy's Ph.D. thesis focused on developing gene therapy vehicles for the treatment of inherited diseases. He completed his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at UC Berkeley. Prior to that he did research in the Medicinal Chemistry Department at the University of Kansas where he received his B.S. in Biology.
Vice President of Business Development and Operations
Xixi brings her operation and business development expertise to DNAlite. She was formerly an analyst from venture capital funds Laurel Ventures (China), Forbion Capital Partners (The Netherlands), and 4Bio Capital Partners (United Kingdom) investing in early-stage therapeutics companies. Xixi holds an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge University and an MPhil in Neuroscience from University College London.
Senior Research Scientist
Cassandra earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, where she developed targeted drug delivery systems under the advisement of Prof. Nathan Gianneschi. Prior to her graduate studies, Cassandra received her B.S. in Biochemistry from West Chester University, where she graduated summa cum laude and first cultivated her passion for biomedical research.
Senior Laboratory Tecnhician
Nikki performs preclinical in-vivo studies at DNAlite and supports the R&D team with in-vitro experiments. She moved to San Francisco from Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salem College. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at San Jose State University.
